I forgot to mention the submission statistics for Volume 2, Issue 1 of Kazka Press–the September 2012 edition. Here they are:

We received 18 submissions to our ‘A Last Hurrah’ 713 Flash Prompt.

Of these 18 submissions, we took two outright and sent one back for a rewrite, which we eventually took as well.

Our total intake for 713 Flash for this issue was 3/18 or 17%.

For our short stories, we received 31 stories and took two (one for this issue and one for next issue).
